Green Gala catering supplies!
WHALE Arts and SCOREscotland will be hosting the Green Gala on Saturday 18 July 2015, 1.00pm – 3.00pm at the WHALE Arts Centre.
Tomorrow’s family fun day will be a celebration of the achievements of WHALE Arts and SCOREscotland over the last 12 months to reduce carbon emissions and envisage a low-carbon future for the WHALE Arts Centre and surrounding outdoor spaces.
The afternoon’s festivities will feature local drumming musicians Tiwa Tiwa, arts and crafts with WHALE’s Waste Action Arts youth group and the WHALE Crafters, eco-friendly play with Dads Rock, as well as face painting, a smoothie bike, snacks and more! Edinburgh and Lothians Greenspace Trust will also be on hand to provide tours of the WHALE Garden, Home Energy Scotland will offer advice about saving energy, and Creative Carbon Scotland will discuss ‘ArtCOP Scotland’, a new project aiming to encourage a Scotland-wide artistic response to climate change.
