Over autumn 2015 and early 2016 young people in South West Edinburgh are being given the opportunity to suggest projects and vote on which ones receive a cash prize.
There are 10 prizes each of £1000 to be granted, and local young people get to choose which 10 ideas get the money.
We are now open for applications until the 30th Novemeber and we encourage all youth clubs and community groups to talk to young people and ask them what they’d do with £1000.
The vote will run from 8th to the 24th February, and the results announced at a community day on the 26th February.
The money has been allocated by the South West Neighbourhood Partnership from their community grants fund budget. So everybody making an application should read the Community Grants Fund Guidance and Conditions of Funding.
