Super Stories and Terrific Tales an exciting story telling event will be coming to Westside Plaza on Saturday 5 September 2015, 11.00am – 3.00pm.
This will be a fun, exciting and adventurous event for children to get involved with. Each story telling adventure will last 30 minutes and will be on the hour at the following times: 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm.
The Wester Hailes Library will be there on the day with learning craft sheets, books, and inviting people to join the library.
Story Telling!
William Wordsworth and Sally McStory both LOVE stories. But disaster has struck and they have lost all of the letters along their way. They need the help of the children to find the lost stories. They will travel through woods, meet well known characters and over-come challenges, before putting all the letters they find in a big story soup bowl. They will then create a new tale from the story soup bowl with the children, encouraging them to add to and create something wonderful and new every time.Crafts and Colouring!
Barbara Book Worm will also be on hand all day to help little hands make and colour in book marks. As well as making things, she will tell stories about her favourite books and find out about what stories the little folk like too!
