The South West Community Safety Team wants your help!

South West Neighbourhood Partnership Office

The South West Community Safety Team has been running a Social Media Campaign to promote their Community Safety and Environmental Warden service, providing regular updates on where they are and what their current priorities are such as dog fouling hot spots.

Along with updates on the South West Community Safety Team they have been trying to encourage local residents to provide them with information relating to offenders who are causing antisocial behaviour, littering, allowing their dogs to foul and fly-tipping in their area. Working together to tackle these issues will ensure CST are in the right place at the right time and provide assurance to local residents that the Community Safety Team are doing all they can to take action on priority issues.

Let us know where you want our Environmental Wardens to be .. is your street bad for dog fouling, does someone who lives by dump their rubbish on the street or do you have an Office with lots of cigarette ends being left in the gutter?? We need YOUR help to help you!

Since the campaign started in July their tweets/posts have reached over 800 people. Local Community groups have been sharing posts with their members. They feel that confidence is growing in regular updates as local residents are beginning to provide specific information allowing the team to take enforcement action against people who have failed to act responsibly within their neighbourhood.
