Wester Hailes library might be looking a bit more colourful the next time you pay a visit as local children have put the finishing touches on a ginormous Elmer!
Elmer has been created over the last few weeks by local children and library staff. The original plan was to finish the elephant over the holidays but it became a bit of a bigger task than first thought. Elmer, the patchwork elephant is a character in a series of books by author David McKee.
