Today was our second session working with Wester Hailes Education Centre (WHEC), WHALE Arts and author Sophie Cooke to run two creative writing workshops. These workshops were funded by Kiran’s Trust.
The students from WHEC worked with Sophie to practice different writing styles creating poetry, life writing and winter story writing. They then worked with us at the Digital Sentinel to submit a story.
We had 8 very creative entries submitted today from WHEC’s 4th year students. You can find all the entries at the Kiran’s Trust writing section of our website. You can also see any other submitted posts on the Your Posts page.
We hope you enjoy the stories as much as we did!
We have enjoyed reading the stories and poems. We are very pleased, and proud, to be able to support this project and hope that this is merely the beginning of something good :))
