Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision on Murrayburn Road over the weekend which left one of the drivers with serious injuries.
The collision occurred on Friday, 1 January 2016 around 6.45pm, at the junction between Murrayburn Road and Dumbryden Drive between a silver Ford Fusion and a white Vauxhall Mokka
The 20 year old driver of the Ford Fusion is receiving treatment in the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and is in a serious condition.
Officers are now urging anyone with information that can assist with their inquiries to get in touch.
Sergeant Andrew Gibb of the Road Policing Unit said :
This collision has left a young man with serious injuries and we are keen to speak to anyone who saw the collision or who has information that can assist us with our inquiries.
