The Fun Run Planning Group met yesterday to discuss the Wester Hailes Fun Run/ Walk 2016. This year’s event will take place on Sunday 19th June starting at 10.00AM from the Wester Hailes Education Centre. Developments for this year include the addition of a 10k Run alongside the popular 5k route. Registration isn’t open yet but there will be plenty of publicity on how to register nearer the time, including information in the Digital Sentinel.
The Planning Group includes several organisations and local residents who meet up regularly to make sure everything goes smoothly. There are also volunteer stewards who help out on the day to keep everyone on the right route!
