There will be a chance to find out about UK Men’s Sheds Association at a meeting in Wester Hailes Library at 2.00pm on Wednesday 24 February 2016.
Men’s Sheds offer men the chance to meet up over practical tasks such as repairing items, making things or sharing DIY skills. Often what they make helps other people and supports their local community. All sorts of skills are shared, from woodwork and metalwork to bicycle maintenance, painting and gardening. Men’s Sheds started in Australia but there are now similar groups in the UK and several in Scotland
