Make your vote count!

There are less than two weeks to register to vote in the upcoming Scottish Parliament election on 5 May 2016.

A record number of people voted during the independence referendum and remained high for last year’s General Election. However, some people are still not registered, while many others will have changed their name or address since then. It’s also important that 16 and 17 year olds register as they can vote for the first time in a parliamentary election.

If your details have changed, it’s really important that you update your details so that you can vote and have your say in the future of the country.  You can now register or update your details online using the Government website.

If you’re not sure if you are registered, contact the Electoral Registration Office on 0131 344 2500.

For more information about where, when and how to vote visit Edinburgh Council’s website.
