The South West Neighbourhood Partnership has announced that they will be holding a Parks and Greenspace Workshop on Thursday 28 April 2016, 6.00pm – 7.30pm at Stenhouse Church Hall.
Large parks in this area include Harrison Park, Saughton Park, Murieston Park, Sighthill Park, Redhall Park and Hailes Quarry Park, but there are also a number of smaller parks and green spaces. A number of parks have established groups of friends and social networks – where these exist we can help you get involved and where they don’t we can discuss what type of setup would work in your area.
This is an excellent opportunity to find out more about community growing areas and how you could benefit from being involved with some of the great greenspace projects taking place in Wester Hailes, such as the Willow Gardening Group and Wester Hailes Edible Estates.
