The Dance Leadership Award, an accredited course – SCQF Level 4, is taking place at Gate 55 on Monday, 25th – Friday, 29th July from 10am – 4pm.
This nationally recognised qualification covers not only dance but leadership skills, planning, organisation, communication and team work. It also enables successful learners to lead small groups in simple dance activities.
It is a great opportunity for anyone interested in dance and open to young people aged 12 and above. You must be able to commit to the whole week of the course.
There is a cost of £21 which includes the registration fee with sports leaders. All the other costs are covered by Gate 55 and sports leaders.
