Wester Hailes library textile group Knit & Knatter have been busy knitting in support of Heathervale, the new young peoples centre being built in Wester Hailes.
The group have spent the last couple of months knitting a selection of cushion covers, small cuddly toys and clothes for nurseries. The building which will hopefully be finished in the next few months will welcome children from across the city, who are unable to stay at home.
Knit and Knatter meets at Wester Hailes library every second Wednesday, 2.00pm – 4.00pm, their next meeting will be on Wednesday 6 July 2016.
