Wester Hailes library has unveiled details of their summer programme and this years Tesco Bank Summer Reading Challenge Scotland, “The Big Friendly Read”.
The Summer Reading challenge will run from 25 June to 27 August and will be celebrating “100 years of the world’s favourite storyteller, Roald Dahl”. Everyone who completes the challenge will receive a medal and certificate, and we hear the library is planning to add an enormous new guest to their childrens’ section.
The library will also be holding free activities every day throughout the summer holidays for children aged 5 – 11, at 2.30pm. Have a look at their programme below for more information.
