A week of exciting and fun activities is currently taking place at The Tent at Saughton Park.
The Tent is a local project for local people aimed at bringing a little bit of that summer excitement to you!
There will be three events held daily at The Tent:
10:30 – 12:30 – Holiday Club for Primary School Children. This will be run in partnership with Churches from the local area to provide a fun and creative holiday club while also sharing about Gods Love. Children will have the opportunity to sing, dance, draw, create, take part in games and drama and hear about God.
14:00 – 16:00 – Sports, music, art and Drama. This will be run in partnership with both local and national organisations who will come in and provide a range of choices. This is open to both Primary and Secondary Children.
18:00 – 22:30 – Family and community events. These will change every evening as we try to offer something for everything. This could be a film night, an evening of Jazz or for those feeling a little more active a ceilidh.
There will also be a series of toddler events taking place during the week from 10.00am – 11.15am, with different community organisations taking charge each day. Thursday is sure to be rocking when local group Dads Rock take over!
