Pentlands Parks and Greenspace Workshop

Curriemuirend Park SignThe Pentlands Neighbourhood Partnership is trying out a new way to involve community members in the use and maintenance of local parks and greenspaces. They are inviting anyone who lives in the Pentlands Neighbourhood Partnership area to attend a workshop on Tuesday 25 October between 5.45pm and 7.00pm at St Cuthbert’s Episcopal Church in Colinton. There they can find out how to get involved in their local parks and in improving their local green spaces.

Council and partner staff will be on hand to discuss:

  • Formal and informal friends of parks group
  • Community growing
  • Grass cutting and meadow planting
  • The Pentlands Regional Park
  • Plus funding opportunities for those who’re interested in getting involved

The workshop is open to everyone but  they ask that you register your interest beforehand so that they know how many will be attending. To register online please follow this link, or if you would like to register by phone please call the Partnership team on 0131 527 3816.
