Peaceful words found in Woodland Dell, Edinburgh

A few days ago on a regular dog walk along the Water of Leith section in the Dell which goes all the way up to Balerno. Part of the way down there is a stone Folly, one of two in this route.

As I was passing I noticed on the small window ledge an envelope and a sheet of paper. Curiosity aroused,  I wandered in to be very pleasantly surprised to find a lovely note left by someone who is obviously thinking about the way of the world just now.

In a tranquil peaceful setting to find such kind words left by a stranger gives one hope for the future.

I am writing this article  to thank this person and share their kind gesture.

I have placed this note in a frame, here is a photo of the framed note back in its original place.
