The Monthlies donation drive at WHALE Arts

WHALE Arts has announced that they will be holding a collection box at their reception for Project Naked’s Monthlies accepting donations of unopened sanitary products, underwear and wipes.

The Monthlies is a Project Naked initiative to collect sanitary products for homeless and low-income people in and around the Edinburgh area. Every month they set up a table at a community space in Edinburgh and collect donations.

Every person who needs sanitary products should have access to them. Periods can be rough and sanitary products are costly. We want to collect and donate as much as possible, so no one needs to worry about that time of the month.

We collect unopened packets of sanitary pads, pantyliners, tampons, baby wipes, mooncups, and underwear. We also accept cash donations, which we will use to buy products to donate. We don’t have a preference for brands, just whatever you’re able to bring. If you’re able to afford to donate multiple packs, it would be great if you could bring a variety.

WHALE Arts is open 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
