The Tin Forest at Wester Hailes Library

Wester Hailes library will be welcoming the Puppet Animation Festival next Monday 3 April 2017at 3.30pm for a performance of The Tin Forest.

A lonely old man lives in a dreary junkyard, full of other people’s broken and unwanted junk. He dreams that one day his world will be full of life, colour and sound. His wish is about to come true…

An uplifting, humorous and touching show, full of visual invention, puppetry and live music…with mechanical birds, a wind-up circus and exotic animals. Based on the book by Helen Ward – illustrated by Wayne Anderson and published by Templar – this production uses a rich, wordless visual language and style.

The show is free but ticketed. You can book your ticket online on their Eventbrite page here or by contacting the library on 0131 529 5667. Tickets can also be reserved in person at the Library.
