A male has been charged with murder following the death of a man in the Dumbryden area of Wester Hailes.
The incident happened around 9.25pm on Saturday, May 27, when a man was discovered with serious injuries in Dumbryden Gardens.
Emergency services attended and the 35-year-old was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment, however he sadly passed away a short time later.
A major investigation was launched by officers in the Capital and a 41-year-old man was subsequently arrested. He is scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday 30th May.
