Re-Union Canal Boats has announced that they will be holding a Waterside Willow Workshop and Walk on Friday 12 May 2017, 1.30pm – 4.30pm.
Take an traditional craft skill and give it a modern, sustainable twist! Bring some re-useable scraps from home (e.g. yarn, string, wire, ribbon, beads, buttons, fabric, tissue, sweetie wrappers), and we’ll show you how to turn them into some quirky and beautiful items to take home, using willow and other natural materials we find on a walk around the canal.
After the workshop enjoy a well earn cup of tea and cruise aboard Lochrin Belle.
The group will be meeting at the Prince Charlie Aqueduct, located above the Water of Leith Centre. The event is free, you can register your place as well as get more information at the groups Eventbrite page here.
