Clovie Play Day with Dads Rock

Dads Rock will be hosting a play day in Clovenstone on Tuesday 1 August 2017, 12 noon – 4.00pm as part of National Playday!

The event will be a free play day for local kids and families, outdoors next to Clovenstone Primary School, and Clovenstone Community Centre.

Dads Rock will have loose parts play, water play, cardboard city, food as well as the awesome people from Street Arts at WHALE Arts and the Play Talk Read bus will be there!

Playday is the national day for play, traditionally held on the first Wednesday in August.

It is the biggest play sector event in the UK, and possibly Europe. As well as a celebration of children’s right to play, Playday is a campaign that highlights the importance of play in children’s lives. Playday is coordinated by Play England, in partnership with Play Wales, Play Scotland and PlayBoard Northern Ireland.
