Our planned maintenance programme for 2017/18 includes showers, new kitchens and cyclical painting. This year we are aiming to complete:
- 75 replacement kitchens
- 83 replacement boilers
- 81 new showers
- Painting works at Westburn and Walkers
Our planned maintenance programme incorporates ongoing maintenance, required replacements, planned improvements and regular inspections/ testing. The plans are sometimes determined by fixed factors such as the estimated life expectancy of items, for example boilers. But our approach is also shaped by our tenants’ views for example consultation around new showers has led to an ongoing shower installation programme.
