Senior Learning & Development Worker vacancy at Broomhouse

The Broomhouse Centre and Enterprises has announced that they are currently looking to recruit a Senior Learning & Development Worker to work as part of their Café Training Project.

The post is 21 hours per week with a salary of £20,604 pro rata.

The purpose of the Senior Learning & Development Worker role is to work as part of our successful Café Training Project to deliver and administer the training programme for trainees and volunteers. You will be working with partners such as Edinburgh College, Borders College and Youth Scotland to carry out skills accreditation courses, ensuring all trainees training and development plans are developed. You will manage training records, including training information on to the City of Edinburgh Council’s Case link. The role will work with outside employability agencies and local companies to move trainees/volunteers on to a positive destination after their training placements, and work in partnership working with other agencies.

The successful applicant for this position will have experience and/or qualifications in:

  • Learning & development work with adults and/or young people
  • Volunteer support
  • A passion for food
  • Experience in supporting clients with additional support needs
