Street Arts Vacancies at WHALE

WHALE Arts Agency has announced that they are currently looking to hire two people to work with their Street Arts Project.

Vacancy: Street Arts Project Coordinator

Hours of Work: 4:30pm – 8:30pm Thursday evenings, plus additional hours for planning, training, holiday provision.
Contract Length: Fixed term 36 month contract.
Salary: £20 per hour, fixed term contract.

The Street Arts Outreach Project Coordinator is responsible for managing the Street Arts team, programming exciting and innovative creative activities with partner artists, engaging with young people, leading youth consultation sessions throughout the programme and coordinating monitoring and evaluation of the project.

Vacancy: Street Arts Project Youth Worker

Hours of Work: 4:30pm – 8:30pm Thursday evenings, plus additional hours for planning, training and holiday provision.
Salary: £15 per hour, freelance.
Deadline: 3 August 2017 at 17:00

The post holder for must be experienced in youth work and/or street work, confident at engaging with young people in a community setting and have a good awareness of the issues that affect young people today. The Street Arts Youth worker will work alongside a team of artists and volunteers to engage with young people on the streets of Wester Hailes.
