Printmaking with Re-Union Canal Boats

Re-Union Canal Boats has announced that they will be holding a free Cyanotype printmaking session aboard the Lochrin Belle at the Canal towpath in the Calders, next Friday 18 August 2017, 1.00pm – 4.00pm.

Cyanotype printmaking is an early form of photography invented the 1840s. It is a simple and satisfying method that can be used by people of all ages, producing striking blue-and-white images. Come and explore how to use this technique to make beautiful pictures of canalside plants.

After the workshop enjoy a cruise and a cuppa aboard Lochrin Belle into Edinburgh Quay
