A man has required hospital treatment after a fire in the Walkers area of Wester Hailes.
Three fire appliances were called to a house fire in Walkers Wynd at around 7.00pm on Sunday 24 September 2017. Two men were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation with one later transferred to hospital for further treatment.
A spokesperson for Scottish Fire and Rescue said:
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 6.54pm yesterday to reports of a fire at a mid-terraced property in Edinburgh.
Three fire appliances were mobilised to the incident at Walkers Wynd and firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.
Two male casualties were treated at the scene by the ambulance service for smoke inhalation.
One casualty was subsequently transferred to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for further treatment.
Crews were stood down around 11.53pm.
