Dr Kirsten MacLeod a filmmaker and researcher from Edinburgh Napier University would like to invite local people share their stories, memories and photos to help make a video documenting the history of Wester Hailes at a special event where she plans to make a film in a day.
The event will take place at the WHALE Arts Centre on Saturday 30 September 2017, 10.00am – 1.00pm. The completed film would then be screened on the same day at 2.00pm.
The film is open to all ages with everyone welcome to come along and join in. Particpants can get involved with the filming, recording the audio or even just sharing some of their stories or memories.
