CHAI’s Employability and Support Service release new newsletter

CHAI’s Employability and Support Service has released the first edition of a new bi-monthly newsletter giving useful information on both employability and benefit issues for those who are looking for work, and those who have just returned to work.

The first issue, covers tips on how to do a CV, articles on how part-time work can exempt you from the benefit cap, and how you can do ‘permitted work’ while claiming Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) without affecting your benefit money.

CHAI, Community Health and  Advice Initiative Ltd is a charity initially set up in Wester Hailes which aims to:

  • relieve poverty
  • provide social welfare assistance
  • provide practical help
  • provide information, advice and support
