Dads Rock are hard at work preparing for the installation of their new bird table in Hailes Quarry Park tomorrow, Thursday 9 November 2017!
The hole has been dug but the team would be grateful if anyone is willing to volunteer to help mix cement tomorrow morning at the park.
The bird table, created thanks to funding from the Wester Hailes Community Trust, was produced by a professional metal worker following designs from Dads Rock’s local families.
The idea for the bird table came after the group worked with Rik Morley of Wester Hailes Wildlife to place bird boxes in the park. Dads Rock saw the desire their families had to improve the area and thought that a more permanent bird table would be a good idea.
