Santa’s Christmas Parade at the Gyle

Santa’s Christmas Parade is set to be an afternoon and night for all to enjoy! Join the Gyle Shopping Centre today from 4.00pm, Tuesday 14 November 2017, for a whole host of festive fun.

The magic will begin at 4.00pm where there will be workshops, face painting, stilt walkers and balloon modelers in the mall.

Micky Gavin and Arlene will also be there from 5.00pm to 6.30pm with their Forth 1 Road Show and lots of fun outside the main entrance.

FUNBOX will also have a festive performance at 5.00pm.

At 5.45pm the Gyle Light switch-on will be taking place and there will also be fireworks to enjoy too.

At 6.00pm – the man himself, Santa will be arriving with his real reindeer and there will be a grand opening of Santa’s Grotto at 6.30pm.

You will also be able to pet the reindeer in the car park.

Definitely plenty of festive fun for all to enjoy!

The visit will also allow Santa to put the finishing touches on his Grotto which will be opening regularly from Friday 17 November 2017.

Come and meet Santa is his very special Grotto at Gyle.

Everyone who meets Santa will receive an early Christmas present for £5. You can have your photo taken with Santa for an additional £5, or get 3 for £10.

Monies raised at this Grotto will be donated to the Forth One ‘Cash for Kids’ Charity. Last entry will be 10 minutes before grotto Closing time.

Please note that the bus stops at the Gyle will be closed this evening to make space for Santa’s Christmas Parade. Several bus services will be diverted:

Services 2 12 18 21 22 36 – will terminate on South Gyle Broadway opposite the Petrol Station.

Services 20 63 300 – will observe the bus stop on South Gyle Broadway outside the Petrol Station
