Winter Window Success for local children

Congratulations to five local children whose entries have been selected for Edinburgh Council and Edinburgh’s Christmas’ Winter Windows 2017 competition.

The competition asked children all across the city to create their own stained glass window design on the theme of 2050 Edinburgh City Vision.

The winning entries were designed by Canal View Primary School pupils Emma Burt and Lucy Hunter, Clovenstone Primary School pupils Eliza Tarajkowicz and Dominik Buczek, and WHALE Arts Creative Adventures participant Cassadi Hunter at a series of sessions run by WHALE Arts new creative placemaker Helena Barret. The winning designs will now be made into light boxes and will go on display at St Giles and outside Westside Plaza from the 18 November to 26 December 2017.
