Local MSP discusses Proposed School merger in newsletter

Local MSP for Edinburgh Pentlands, Gordon Macdonald has released his latest newsletter for December 2017, stating his position on Edinburgh Council’s proposed merger of WHEC and Currie Commnunity High School.

Gordon outlines that he disagrees with the City of Edinburgh Council and that there is enough capacity for the growth in pupil numbers in schools across the South West. Instead he is in favour of the approach used by the Council at Forrester High with the replacement schools built on school grounds.
