World Autism Awareness Week: talk by Colin Williamson

Wester Hailes library will be hosting a talk with Colin Williamson today, Monday 26 March 2018, 1.30pm, as part of Autism Awareness Week.

Colin Williamson is a storyteller, public speaker and keen historian. He is also dyslexic and was diagnosed with high functioning autism later in his life. At this event he will give a short presentation about his life and late diagnosis of Asperger’s Syndrome at the age of 48.

Pasda will also have a representative there with literature and resources.

The event is free and there is no need to book tickets – just turn up on the day! Refreshments: teas/ coffees and biscuits will also be provided.

World Autism Awareness Week takes place this year from Monday 26 March to Monday 2 April 2018. To mark this, there are lots of events happening round the city.
