Bank of Scotland – Skills and Opportunities Fund: Vote for CHAI

CHAI has been shortlisted for public voting in this round of funding from the Royal Bank of Scotland – Skills and Opportunities Fund and are asking for your support to help them secure funding.

Our project will offer financial capability and education workshops to individuals attending the 4, locality based, Drug and Alcohol recovery hubs in Edinburgh. It is a great work that provides essential support to an extremely vulnerable group.

In order to start this project we need the help of the community and get as many votes as possible. Please vote for CHAI following this link. The deadline for voting is 20th April 2018.

The Community Help and Advice Initiative (CHAI) is based in Chesser, which provides a range of advice and support services to people living in Edinburgh with the aim of relieving poverty and preventing homelessness. Much of their work specifically focuses on the South West of Edinburgh, such as their employability service that offers weekly drop in advice at Wester Hailes library, their youth work project that operates from Gate 55 in Sighthill, and their tenancy support service that offers housing support to vulnerably housed people in the South West of Edinburgh.

If you would like more information regarding this project, or CHAI’s work, please contact CHAI at chai@chaiedinburgh.org.uk, or call at 0131 442 2100. You can  also follow them on Twitter at @CHAIEdinburgh.
