The Wester Hailes Community Trust has presented it’s latest award to WHALE Arts to support smART CRAFT, a local visual arts group for adults with learning disabilities, mental health issues and additional support needs
The award of £2500 will be used to fund the running costs of the group for 6 months from January to June 2019. The Wester Hailes Community Trust hope that supporting the group will help vulnerable adults facing social isolation and barriers presented by disability and mental health issues. As part of the award smART Craft will be putting an exhibition of their work on display at WHALE Arts.
