SCOREscotland are looking to recruit a Child and Family Additional Support Development Officer and two 17 – 24 Youth Group Leaders.


Child and Family Additional Support Development Officer (3 Days a Week)

To target and develop purposeful links with children and young people (C&YP) particularly those from black and minority ethnic (B/ME) communities in West/South West Edinburgh

To develop and deliver SCOREscotland’s Child and Family Additional Support Service;

to respond to substantial need for additional support amongst some B/ME families in liaison with our Y&CDO and to represent these needs (in tandem with this officer) to other relevant agencies where required.

To promote C&YP’s health and wellbeing and better outcomes

Department: Youth and Children’s Work
Salary: £28,250 per annum (pro rata in this case)
Employment type: Fixed term contract until 30th June 2021
Responsible to: SCOREscotland Manager


17 – 24 Youth Group Leader (2 Posts)

Racism stops people from living the lives that they deserve.

We work with partners to address the causes of racism and we provide support to families and young people who struggle with its effects. Our goal is to strengthen communities and to enable people to take an active and full part in community life.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Group Leader who is passionate about engaging with young people and about supporting them to make progress on our outcomes.

Responsible To: Youth and Children’s Development Officer
Place of Work:  SCOREscotland, WHALE Arts 30 Westburn Grove, Edinburgh and other venues throughout South West Edinburgh.
Hours of Work and Rate of Pay:  6 hours per week at £15 per hour.
The group will be running on a week day evening. There may be occasional
additional weekend and school holiday work depending on the activities of the group.
