
The Broomhouse Community One Stop Shop are looking to recruit a temporary Office/Project Assistant.
The post is maternity cover until until approximately March 2020, working 18 hours per week with a salary of £9 per hour paid monthly.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- General office duties, answering phones, assisting clients
- Research, social media posting and collation of statistics
- Report writing
- Foodbank assistance, emptying stock, making food parcels
- Attending external promotional events
- Assisting in Christmas preparations
- Cover for various members of staff
- Any other work as directed by Project Manager
Successful candidate must have
- Excellent IT skills
- Knowledge of social media
- Strong communications skills
- Flexible Approach
- Ability to deal with vulnerable clients
- Excellent writing skills
- Non-judgemental approach
- Able to prioritise work load
- Be capable of manual handling and moving of stock
- Driver’s License preferable
- Experience of office environment and working with different types of people
- Knowledge of third sector
- Strong team player
