Murrayburn and Hailesland Community Park Association and City of Play will be holding the first in a series of interactive workshop sessions on Saturday 4 May 2019, 1.00pm – 3.00pm, next to the Murrayburn & Hailesland Community Garden beside Michael’s shop.
The sessions will be taking place regularly over the coming weeks as part of the ‘Making Places Community Led Design’ exercise, which aims to produce a masterplan for how the local communities want to see their greenspaces develop for the benefit of everyone in the locality.
The fist session will be a ‘tour’ of the area, with local children (tour guides) leading adult observers (tourists) around so they can observe how children experience the area, record their thoughts, perceptions and sensory experiences.
The results will be used to inform the next stages of the design exercises.
