Wester Hailes Education Centre’s ongoing Name Change consultation being carried out by the WHEC Futures Group has reached stage 2, choosing a name from a shortlist.
The shortlisted selection of names includes:

Speaking of moving to stage 2, Headteacher David Young said:
As you know we started this process over two weeks ago to find a name that reflects our aspirations as a school but still retains our sense of community. Thank you for all the input and effort you have made – all our pupils are very excited about this, as are our future pupils in Canal View, Clovenstone and Sighthill.
