Local MSP for Edinburgh Pentlands, Gordon Macdonald has released his latest newsletter for June 2019.
The newsletter details Gordon’s reaction to the news that the City of Edinburgh Council have received £400,000 in funding from the Scottish Government’s Town Centre Fund for phase two of regeneration of the Westside Plaza Civic Sqaure.
The works will build upon the consultation and design created as part of the Wester Hailes Community Trust Making Places project through the delivery of a community green and educational garden containing semi-mature seasonal trees and planting, children’s play facilities, street furniture, improved lighting, resolution of change in levels across the site, revamping of existing columns with art and signage, and the creation of a local market space.
