The Wester Hailes Community Trust has presented their latest award to the Murrayburn and Hailesland Community Park Association, supporting the group to create a fenced off loose play area on the Greenway.
The award of £4395 will be used by the group to create a pop-up adventure playground and a Development worker to run activities in the space and identify opportunities for improvements.
Not only will the pop-up playground make better use of the Greenway, providing a safe, clean area for local children to play, the Park Association plan to use the space throughout the course of their Making Places project. The park will act as a venue where they can gather the community’s views in order to create a master plan for a future Community Park in the Greenway.
