The City of Edinburgh Council are looking to fill two support assistant vacancies at Sighthill Primary School.
The posts are permanent and part time, working 27.75 hours per week with a salary of £16287 – £18316 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional).
Sighthill is a Primary School which is situated in the Calders in the West area of Edinburgh. Built in 1968, the school serves a catchment area which is fairly wide and comprises a social mix, attracting families of many faiths and of none. Several families of ethnic minority have placed their children in Sighthill Primary.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
