The City of Edinburgh Council are looking to recruit a School Support Assistant based at Wester Hailes Education Centre.
The post is part-time, working 12 hours per week, with a salary of £16,287.00 – £18,316.00 per year, and contracted to Sunday 31 May 2020.
Working hours and Monday to Friday mornings term time only, Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 11.00am and Friday 8.30am – 10.30am but can be flexible.
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic person to assist our teaching staff with the preparation and organisation of class materials and resources. An interest in Home Economics (food preparation) would be an advantage, and full training will be provided.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
