To Celebrate 50 years of Wester Hailes, WHALE Arts Creative Placemaking Team will be holding a Christmas Trip to The Barras on Saturday 7 December 2019, departing at 9.30am from WHALE Arts.
The Trip will visit the Barrowlands Christmas Market, with a free pack lunch provided, before heading back to WHALE for a session to wrap all the new Christmas presents. The Trip is funded by the Wester Hailes Community Trust as part of the 50 years of Wester Hailes Celebrations. It was organised after a local resident suggested it was something that used to happen in Wester Hailes and that it would be good to bring it back.
