Your Rights, Your Views: Human Rights Drop-in Event

The Scottish Human Rights Commission will be holding a drop-in session at WHALE Arts on Tuesday 26 November 2019, 6.30pm – 8.00pm.

What do human rights mean to you? Did you know human rights include things like the right to employment, housing, food and social security? What should be done to make rights more of a reality for you and your community?

The Scottish Human Rights Commission is working with communities across Scotland to help people find out more, and share their own experiences of human rights in everyday life. This event is particularly for people from Black and Minority Ethnic communities to tell us about their experiences of human rights issues but everyone is welcome. There will be a limited amount of hot veggie food available from 6pm.

If you’d like to come, or you think you might need some support to come along, please contact Chloë at the Scottish Human Rights Commission, 0131 297 5750, chloe.trew@scottishhumanrights.com
