Edinburgh Council are looking to recruit a Facilities Technician Supervisor based at Wester Hailes Education Centre.
The post is permanent and full time, with a salary of £21,490.00 – £25,623.00 per year.
The hours are 36 hours per week, split across a two week rotation:
Week 1: Monday to Friday 07:00 – 15:00
Week 2: Monday to Friday 13:00 – 21:00
Supervise and manage janitorial operations over one or more sites within the South West area of Edinburgh being responsible for a team of Facilities Technicians dealing with day to day matters in a number of properties. Liaise closely and professionally with direct stakeholders and the FM line management in resourcing and planning of larger projects/undertakings.
The post holder will have 4-10 direct reports comprising Facilities Technicians. The post will carry full management responsibilities including: carrying out appraisals/annual conversations as determined by CEC policy; dealing with sickness absence and related procedures such as return-to-work meetings; first level disciplinary investigations; approval of holiday requests and recruitment.
