The City of Edinburgh Council are looking to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor based at Wester Hailes Education Centre and covering several building in South West Edinburgh.
The post is permanent and full time working 36 hours per week with a salary of £22,129.00 – £26,393.00 per year (pro-rata for 40 weeks sessional).
We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to join the team and cover several buildings South West of Edinburgh from Wester Hailes Education Centre High School.
Shifts will be split (AM/PM) therefore, successful candidates will need to be flexible in their working hours.
Successful candidates will be allocated to a hub to cover a number of buildings and be responsible to manage cleaners in these allocated buildings. The area is quite compact, but the use of a car may be beneficial in the role.
Experience of cleaning and staff supervision is essential.
Candidates should have experience of supervising staff, ideally with a cleaning background. There will be some information that needs to be input on the computer, so a basic understanding of using a computer would be desirable.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
