A short film created by SCOREscotland Celebrating 50 Years of Diversity in Wester Hailes has made it to week 2 of @FringeofColour.
This is a story about SCOREscotland celebrating the colourful diversity in Wester Hailes, which turned 50 years old! Uncovering stories about ethnic minorities in Wester Hailes that date back as far as the 80’s, highlighting the importance of race equality work in the face of racism/hate crime, and celebrating the love, lives, contributions, and history of black and people of colour in Wester Hailes past and present.
The film was created by Aboodi Taha and filmed an event supported by the Wester Hailes Community Trust as part of the 50 years of Wester Hailes celebrations.
