SCOREscotland’s Green Futures Project has announced that their Community Fridge will be open two days a week from today, 7 January 2021.
The fridge is open for 2 hours on:
Mondays 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Thursdays 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm
The fridge is located at the WHALE Arts Centre and offers free food donated by businesses and supermarkets to local people. Community members are not allowed into the Whale Arts building but staff/volunteers will be giving out food items operating outside. Those attending are asked to wait in their car if able and to maintain 2 metres distance at all times. You must bring your own bag.
People are allowed to visit once a week while everyone will be social distancing, practicing good hand hygiene and wearing face coverings. SCOREscotland will be limiting the number of visitors in the allocated space at one time.
